Counter Sales Representative

About the Role:
The Counter Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through in-person and phone interactions. This role requires a customer-focused individual with strong communication skills and the ability to quickly understand and fulfill customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide positive, friendly, and helpful service to all customers, addressing their inquiries and needs effectively.
- Accurately determine and document customer merchandise requirements, suggesting relevant and complementary products.
- Receive and process customer calls, accurately identifying and fulfilling their needs.
- Proactively contact customers to identify potential sales opportunities and build relationships.
- Utilize product knowledge to provide accurate and effective solutions to customer requests.
- Provide support to outside sales staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge related to product measurements, identification, and specifications.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
- Proficiency in Spanish (speaking and listening) (Preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4 hours at a time).
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
