Outside Sales Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Industrial Supply Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. You will proactively identify sales opportunities, present product solutions, and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales quotas within the assigned territory.
- Prospect for new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and other lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating product features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Drive to customer locations for product deliveries and pickups
- Manage customer inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to maximize profitability.
- Provide excellent customer service, including resolving customer inquiries and addressing any concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative in the industrial supply industry (preferred).
- Strong understanding of the industrial market and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 30-50lbs regularly throughout the work day.
